It's Been A Minute

I haven't been able to create any new banners as of late due to the loss of Photoshop, courtesy of my computer fail. It's been a minute since I've posted on this blog so I've resorted to fingering around with free banner creators online and came up with this. It's of Robert Pattinson from his Water For Elephants Berlin Red Carpet appearance a few days ago. It's not half bad but I wish I was given more versatility with these free banner creator sites while I wait out for a new comp.



WFE was simply amazing! Robert Pattinson was the heart of the movie and his portrayal of Jacob Janowski was exceptionally well played. Of course, I admit I may be completely biased to everything Rob is and does. :P I've only seen the movie once, this past Monday, right after voluntarily giving up Rob for the whole Lent season. I can't believe I survived!

Gah! I'm obsessed with this completed gem of a fic from the amazing @Lalina2005. She's also the author of WIP fic Let's Get Physical, yet another awesome fic that I'm currently dying for updates in my sinbox. It's not unusual for me to lose interest in stories that are more than 20 chapters long but I'm absolutely captivated by TSL even though I'm on the 29th chappie. Lalina's wordplay and storytelling on Mobward and Captivella is simply genius. There's 36 chapters total and I'm absolutely giddy that it has a completed sequel fic too, named The Lion and The Jackal!

While reading this fic, I couldn't help but visualize a banner for TSL's Edward and Bella. Hence, the creation below. Unfortunately this banner only captures a certain scene in this fic and does not capture the story as a whole but I hoping that Lalina will like it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I am nothing without this website and the amazing ladies that dedicate their time for RobPorn! Congrats to their newest blog member, Tink! I live through her Rob experiences, no lie.

Rob's beardy mountain man look leaves me flustered despite his under-eye bags and lack of smiles. The flush on his cheeks is what kills me most of all. Drunk Rob is always win. Of course, I had to create this blue plaid banner for my ladies of Robsessed to commemorate the fuckawesomeness of USA-roadtrip-beardy-Rob. Hope you like it!

Since my last post, I celebrated my birthday with a whole week filled with concerts galore. Bobby Long at the Troubadour, Kings of Leon at The Hollywood Bowl and Sam Bradley at The Hotel Cafe. I had major fangirl fail at the latter concert and missed Rob in his LB baseball cap glory even though he walked past me within arm's distance. Gah!
